With a full slate of 15 MLB games on deck Wednesday, there are plenty of opportunities to target plus-money prop bets. Let's do just that with my three favorite home run props for Wednesday's slate.
Wednesday looks to be the perfect time to target the Cincinnati Reds in home run props. Cleveland Guardians starter Noah Syndergaard has surrendered nine homers over his last five starts, and the friendly weather at Great American Ballpark is creating a projected 22 percent boost to home runs (Ballpark Pal). Let's roll with Elly De La Cruz, who has seven hits in his last 23 at-bats and has hit eight of his nine homers this season off right-handed pitching.
Not many hitters in MLB are seeing the ball better than Corey Seager right now. The shortstop is batting .354 over the last two weeks, and he leads the league in home runs (seven) and slugging percentage (.854) in that same span. Seager has also hit a homer off Los Angeles Angels starter Reid Detmers in 13 at-bats against the left-hander. We're riding the hot hand here.
Mookie Betts has become a regular in the home run prop column, and for a good reason. Only four players in MLB have hit more homers than Betts' 31 this season, and he's been absolutely on fire with three homers and a .375 batting average in his last 48 at-bats. Oh, and in 19 career ABs against Milwaukee Brewers starter Wade Miley, Betts has nine hits and a home run.
